The mission of Kalamazoo Anesthesiology Pain Consultants is to deliver meaningful and effective pain management to all of our patients in a compassionate and caring fashion. All of our patients are to be treated in a compassionate and humane fashion, no different than we would treat a member of our family.

Dr. Michael Chafty

Dr. Chafty began his post-graduate education with a Law Degree from Wayne State University in 1981. He later shifted his attention to the practice of medicine, graduating with an M.D. degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 1990. A residency in Anesthesia, followed by fellowship training in Pain Management, was completed at the University of Michigan Hospitals. Dr. Chafty achieved Board Certification in Anesthesiology in 1997, followed by Board Certification in Pain Management in 1998. Dr. Chafty has been involved with Kalamazoo Anesthesiology P.C. Pain Consultants since 1997. He is the Director of the Pain Consultants and practices Pain Management full time.

Dr. Pat Reddan

Dr. Reddan attended Oakland University and obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University. He completed his residency at Henry Ford Hospital. Dr. Reddan was on active duty in the United States Air Force before joining Kalamazoo Anesthesiology in 1999. Dr. Reddan is a member of the ASA, AMA, and MSMS along with the International Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Management and the Society of the Pain Prevention Management.

William H. Blakeslee PA-C

Mr. Blakeslee attended Albion College, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts, majoring in Chemistry. In 2007, he graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master’s Degree in Medicine, as well as received his board certification as a Physician Assistant. Bill started his career as a Physician Assistant in the Battle Creek Emergency Department, and continued there for over 4 years before joining Kalamazoo Anesthesiology Pain Consultants. He now practices Pain Management full time.
